One of major global concerns in the U.S. is the Debt Ceiling. The U.S. has been at war for close to a decade now. With that being said, our annual spending is expected to increase. The more we provide for the troops and the increasing need to protect our country, it comes at a greater cost. As the future nears, it's look promising to decrease the necessary overall spending in America and increase or revenue. As our physical & financial support draw downs, in Iraq and Afghanistan, the more we should be able to shift that money that was provided back into things like social security, medical benefits and our housing market.
Another concern in the world today is the Unemployment Rate. Though it seems to have an overall increase in a lot of countries, part of the reasoning is due to the available jobs. With the job market not doing so well, its hard to be employed. Central Intelligence Agency has provided and compiled a listing of unemployment rates rates across the world.
